We didn't use any amplifier or sound system but two independent KB1 by K-Array, one for the Stick, the other for vocals and guitar. Video recorded using an I-Pad, audio is a quick mix I made between ambient (recorded on an I-Pad) and pc soundboard (two single mono tracks, one for each KB1, recorded on a Motu 828 MK3, Mac Book Pro pc, Logic Pro software). Listening with ear monitors or good speakers is strongly recommended.

A psychedelic-modal improvisation from my Chapman Stick solo performance “FluidBox - Music From The Last Century”. Video recorded by a smartphone from the audience, although I slightly improved the audio on Logic Pro, I suggest listening with headphones.

A short excerpt from my Chapman Stick solo performance “FluidBox - Music From The Last Century”. This is a small part of the improvisation on my instrumental version of “Little Wing” (by Jimi Hendrix, from his album Axis: Bold As Love, 1967, with The Jimi Hendrix Experience). Video filmed from the audience with a smartphone, listening with headphones or quality speakers is highly recommended.

2026 - Via Del Campo - Live at Espacio OMNIA, Granada, Spain (Cover)

A highlight from a special evening, an artwork exhibition opening by Italian artist Filippo Esmaily, at the Espacio OMNIA art gallery in Granada. On that occasion, given the unique nature of the event, I played a few songs without the effects I usually use. It's just the clean sound of the Chapman Stick straight into the mixer, with a little touch of reverb, recorded live using a pro camera. The song is my instrumental version of "Via Del Campo", a beautiful Italian piece written by Fabrizio De André and Enzo Jannacci in 1967. It's been recorded by a pro camera from the audience, so the sound is very clean, but I think it's always better listening with ear monitors or with decent studio speakers.
